My own home care routine and mask pack recommendations to solve winter dryness.
I came home early because an appointment I had for this evening was suddenly canceled. While resting, I looked in the mirror, and I don't know if it was because of the sudden cold weather or because I'd been under the office heater all day... but my face was incredibly puffy. It was almost 9 o'clock, and looking at myself in the mirror, I realized my skin needed a quick fix. So today, I'm going to focus on a home care routine that'll replenish my moisture. I'll share my favorite mask pack recommendations and how I use them. My rule of thumb is to first gently exfoliate and then apply a generous amount of ampoule to create a base. Then, when I apply a mask pack specifically designed for soothing and hydrating, the feeling of it adhering to my skin is completely different. Especially in the winter, I find it's better to use a thin sheet mask that's rich in essence rather than a thick, heavy sheet mask. This allows my skin to breathe and absorb moisture. After about 15 minutes, I remove the mask pack, and I can see my face become noticeably more vibrant. But that's not the end of it. After patting the remaining essence in, you'll need to apply a highly concentrated moisturizing cream to complete the look. What mask packs do you usually use during this dry season? If you have any other great products for sensitive, dry skin like mine, I'd love to hear about them. Enjoy the rest of your evening!
