A review of quitting expensive cosmetics and finding light (escaping dry skin)

Are you all sleeping now? I just got out of the shower and put on lotion and now I'm feeling dizzy and writing this... ㅋㅋ What's wrong with the weather these days? The office heater is blowing directly at me, so my face feels like it's cracking by 3 PM. When I look in the mirror, my foundation is all caked on and my face looks dull, so I just sigh ㅠㅠ

In the past, I was anxious so I applied skin, essence, ampoule, and eye cream, but instead, I think it was too much nutrition, and I only got more whiteheads and my skin texture was the same.. (My money.. ^^;;) So I recently made up my mind and started a 'cosmetic diet' and surprisingly, this was the right answer.

The routine I stick to these days is simple!

  1. I'm obsessed with "absorption," so I drastically reduce the number of basic products I use. Instead, I apply a generous amount of just one moisturizing cream with good ingredients. The key is not to just roughly rub it in, but to use the warmth of your palms to gently press it in until it's completely absorbed!! If you do this, your skin will be glowing the next morning, not oily. LOL

  2. The 2-liter water challenge is really hard, you know? I hate going to the bathroom so much, but just hold on and try it for two weeks. Drinking water seems to be more effective for clearing up your complexion than applying expensive ampoules. ㅠㅠ

I guess the basics are the answer after all, lol. It's good to get expensive treatments, but I think home care every day is the best. How do you all take care of your skin during the changing seasons? If you have any of your own tips or life-changing items, please share them in the comments! Let's learn good things together, lol. Now I'm going to put my phone away and get a good night's sleep. Good night!!
