I don't need expensive ampoules... In the end, this was the answer ㅠㅠ
Wow.. Is it really time already? ㅠㅠ Are you all sleeping? I just got out of the shower and was applying skincare when I woke up, so I'm hesitating to write this ㅋㅋ
I thought the weather was getting a little warmer these days, but the office heater is still blowing, so maybe that's why... Is it just me who feels like my face gets really chapped at 3 PM? When I look in the mirror, there's makeup all over my nose, and the area around my eyes is puffy... It's such a mess, I really want to break the mirror, sob sob
So recently, I tried a bunch of things to 'resuscitate my skin', and surprisingly, I felt deep down that 'emptying' is the answer rather than expensive cosmetics. I was greedy and applied a lot of essence, ampoule, and eye cream, but instead, my whiteheads just exploded and my skin felt like it couldn't breathe?? (My money.. ^^;;)
In the end, I quit everything and just started using a mild toner to get my skin organized and a generous layer of a good moisturizing cream. Instead of roughly rubbing it in, I kept patting it in while watching TV with the warmth of my palms until it was completely absorbed. ㅋㅋ This is the key!! I dabbed it in until it felt like it was being absorbed into my skin without any residue, and the next morning, my skin was glowing inside instead of oily. ㄷㄷ
And this is a really small thing, but sleep with a towel on your pillow. Even if it's a hassle, you should definitely try this. I don't want to bother doing laundry every day, so I just change the towels quickly, and maybe because they don't feel sticky when they touch my cheeks, my redness has definitely gone down a lot.
As I write this, I feel a little embarrassed because it seems so obvious...ㅋㅋ Sticking to the basics is the hardest thing in the world, right? ㅠㅠ It's good to get expensive treatments, but in the end, I think daily home care is the best. How are you all enduring this dry season? If you have any of your own tips or life items, please leave a comment!
