Are there any of you who keep getting a bump on one cheek? The culprit is someone else (goosebumps warning)
Wow.. I had a really creepy experience recently, lol. No matter how many expensive ampoules I applied and how much I slept, the whiteheads on my right cheek and jawline just wouldn't go away. I even washed my pillowcase often, so I was really stressed out because I wondered why this was happening.
But the culprit was my 'smartphone'. Before going to bed, I would turn off the lights and use my phone, and when I fell asleep, the part of my face where my phone touched it, or the part where the screen touched it while talking on the phone, was my trouble zone. They say there are more bacteria on the screen than on a toilet seat, but if I was rubbing my face with that, there's no way my skin would be okay. -_-
Since realizing that, there are only two routines I obsessively stick to these days.
-
As soon as I get home, I wipe my phone with an alcohol swab (you can buy one at Daiso for 1,000 won...)
-
Put a 'fresh towel' on your pillow when you sleep and change it every day.
What's really frustrating is... It's much faster to stick to these two than to change basic products. LOL I was shocked to see my redness disappear in just a week. I guess if you don't do the basics, it's like pouring water into a bottomless pit.
Now that I've figured out the cause, I think I can just go to Maypure and get the scars and pigmentation removed with laser treatment. (I have an excuse to get treatment..)
Have you ever felt like you were in the dark? If you've ever found your skin glowing by changing a small habit, share your story! Let's inspire each other... haha.
