[My Own Routine] This is more important than expensive ampoules... Escaping the Cleansing Nomad ㅠㅠ
Honestly, I've been blaming my basic skincare products so much. You know that feeling when you apply expensive products but your skin doesn't seem to absorb them? You wake up with oily skin and a tight stomach?
But I happened to see a YouTube video on how to wash my face, so I thought I was being fooled and followed along, but it turns out it was really the most basic of basics. If there's anyone like me who just wiped it off with a cotton pad or just finished with a cursory foam cleanser, please take note of this.
These days, I'm sticking to the '1 minute rolling' rule.
Rub gently with oil or balm type to melt sebum, but the key here is not to wash it off right away, but to thoroughly go through the emulsification process where it turns white with a little water. They say that if you do this roughly, it can actually cause trouble.
There are days when I just want to wash up and go to sleep because it's too much of a hassle... But after trying it for just 3 days, the bumps around my nose and the roughness under my chin have really disappeared. It feels really good to apply skincare because there's nothing on my fingertips lol
Of course, home care has its limits for already hardened sebum and deep blackheads, so I feel refreshed when I go to Maypure and get an aqua peel or other treatment. However, if you just pay attention to cleansing like this on a regular basis, I think the treatment will last a long time. ^^
For those of you looking for ways to improve your skin, take a break from cosmetics shopping and start thoroughly cleansing this evening. It really makes a difference in your basic diet, haha.
