[Lifestyle] My review of how I escaped from the cold and regained my dull complexion (coffee was the problem ㅠㅠ)
Honestly, I used to drink iced Americano instead of water. I think I drank at least three cups a day: one as soon as I opened my eyes in the morning, and one after lunch.
But these days, when I look in the mirror, my face looks like ashen. Even if you apply a lot of good ampoule, it just sits on the surface, and because of the dryness inside, your skin cracks in the afternoon, you know that feeling?
So I decided to give up coffee and drink 2 liters of plain water for exactly 2 weeks. At first, I almost gave up because going to the bathroom so often was so annoying... haha. But after exactly 5 days, when I washed my face in the morning, the texture of my skin changed.
It's good to go to a dermatologist and get treatment, but basically, if your body is dehydrated, it's like pouring water into a bottomless bucket ;;
Of course, existing freckles and blemishes can't be resolved with home care, so I'll have to go to Maypure and get laser treatment. However, drinking water definitely helps with overall skin tone and dullness. My dull complexion seems to be brightening up a bit.
If you, like me, have dry, unexplained acne, try cutting down on coffee before blaming your cosmetics. They say caffeine sucks out all the moisture, and it seems to be true. ㅠㅠ
I'm glad I've gotten used to carrying a tumbler now, but sometimes when I crave a cool drink, it's really hard to resist. Everyone, pretend you're being fooled and definitely drink water! ^^
