The monthly hormonal changes can be incredibly difficult. I also get really big pimples around my mouth right before my period, which really bothers me. So this month, I've been focusing on my diet for a week leading up to my due date, avoiding oily foods as much as possible. I cleanse more thoroughly than usual and use a soothing mask every day. Thanks to these preemptive measures, I notice less breakouts than usual, which gives me some peace of mind. Of course, since it's a hormonal issue, I can't completely prevent them, but I hope the pain has eased a bit. If anyone else has any tips for managing pre-menstrual skin problems, I'd really appreciate it!
