It's already halfway through February. How's everyone's skin condition? I don't know why the pores in the butterfly zone next to my nose are so noticeable these days whenever I look in the mirror. ㅜ ㅜ I used to just ignore it, thinking my skin was a bit oily, but now that I'm in my 40s, I can see my pores are getting longer and longer as my skin loses elasticity. Wow, seriously... is this even allowed? ㅠ ㅠ Even with makeup, my pores are clogged, and my entire face looks dirty. It's incredibly stressful, so I changed my routine and my skin condition has improved a lot. In the morning, I always use a slightly acidic cleanser to protect my moisture barrier, and in the evening, I always apply a vitamin C ampoule. I especially apply a wrinkle-improving functional cream to the area between my eyebrows and gently massage it in. It definitely brightens my skin tone and makes my face look brighter. How do you guys take care of your pores?
For more thorough care, I'm seriously considering Fraxel, which was recommended by someone around me. Fraxel microscopically abrades the skin, encouraging new skin cells to grow, and is said to be effective in minimizing pores and improving scars. However, I've heard that people experience redness and flaking for several days after the procedure, so I'm hesitant to give it a try.
