Did you know that applying too many cosmetics at once can actually tire out your skin? I do a "skin fast" once a week, every weekend, where I apply just one basic product and give my skin a rest.
This time helps your skin build up its own strength to heal itself while avoiding over-nutrition.
It might feel a little dry at first, but after a few days, you'll notice your skin feels much more comfortable. Of course, I always apply sunscreen when I go out, but on days off at home, I try to give my skin a chance to breathe.
Doing this definitely makes your skin less sensitive and its texture healthier. For those who haven't seen much improvement despite applying a lot of cosmetics, giving your skin a break every now and then can be helpful.
