It seems like my facial skin and scalp are inseparable. When my scalp sags, my face seems to collapse as well, so I focus on washing my hair as much as I do on vitamin C. Before shampooing, I massage my scalp with a massage brush, which really helps with blood circulation. I recommend the Aveda brush. Then, I thoroughly wet my scalp with lukewarm water, lather it up, and massage it in with my fingertips, not my nails. This helps reduce scalp heat and facial puffiness, leaving my complexion much clearer. It also reduces hair loss.
