Many people are stressed about pores and blackheads, right? Looking at them in the mirror with a magnified view is even more concerning. However, indiscriminately squeezing or frequently using nose packs can actually enlarge pores. The most basic rule is thorough but gentle cleansing. For the sebum-producing T-zone, after a first wash, lather up thoroughly and gently roll the pores for about 30 seconds.
Also, try exfoliating with a product containing BHA once or twice a week. This helps dissolve sebum and dead skin cells that build up in pores. However, using it every day can be irritating, so it's best to monitor your skin's condition and adjust accordingly. On days when you exfoliate, be sure to also follow up with a moisturizing treatment. Dehydration can actually lead to more sebum production.
Another important aspect of managing blackheads is developing a habit of tightening pores. After washing your face, gently rinsing with cold water or using a toner pad briefly stored in the refrigerator to soothe the area can be helpful. And most importantly, avoid touching your pores with your hands. Doing so can lead to inflammation.
Consistency is the best tip. Rather than expecting it to disappear all at once, if you take care of it a little bit every day, you'll definitely feel it getting clearer.
