At the dermatologist, my doctor told me to cut down on wheat and dairy products because I keep getting acne on my chin.
So I mustered up the courage to declare "no flour." But it turned out to be much harder than I thought.
Even when choosing lunch menus at work, I felt unnecessarily anxious, and even at around 3 p.m., my mind was filled with thoughts of bread and snacks. Honestly, by the third day, my sensitivity was so intense that I almost threw everything away and just made ramen, lol.
Still, I held out for a week.
Amazingly, the hard, inflammatory pimples that used to be around my chin stopped coming up.
And when I wake up in the morning, my body feels much lighter. My skin tone also seems to have brightened a bit.
Honestly, I don't think it's possible to give up flour for the rest of your life.
I think it's worth trying, even if only for a little while, when you have an important appointment or your skin is particularly bad.
It seems that my skin definitely reacts to the food I eat.
