My own routine that affects my skin condition
Whenever my skin feels a bit off, there's one routine I stick to more than just changing my cosmetics: I never use a towel right after washing my face!
I heard that towels hanging in the bathroom are more dusty and damp than you'd think, making them a breeding ground for bacteria. So, after washing my face, while it's still dripping wet, I just pat it dry with my hands instead of a towel, or gently press it with a tissue. It felt a bit uncomfortable and awkward at first, but since I've gotten into this habit, the whiteheads on my chin and forehead have definitely disappeared.
Applying foundation right away while your skin is still slightly damp feels like it's locking in moisture much more. I think this simple hygiene habit determines your skin's texture the next day more than applying expensive essence. If you're really going to cheat, try skipping towels for just three days. You'll notice a difference in the way your skin feels under your fingertips when you wash your face in the morning! I highly recommend it to Maypure members, too.
