I have a habit of clenching my jaw ㅠㅜ

When I'm concentrating on my work, I often find myself resting my chin on my left hand. Maybe that's why I keep getting hard, painful pimples on my left jaw.

 

I went to the dermatologist a while ago and the doctor said, "You know your hands are dirtier than a toilet seat, right?"

He said that so directly, and it stung for a moment. Since then, I've been consciously trying to keep my hand from reaching for my chin, and I've even put a Post-it note next to my desk monitor that says, "Don't rest your chin on it!" But when I come to my senses, I often find myself resting my chin on it again. I'm trying to be careful because I've heard that germs on my hands can worsen infections, but...

 

Changing even one habit isn't easy. I've tried using acne patches to reduce contact with my skin, but I haven't found a definitive solution yet. They say changing one habit is much better for your skin than buying and applying expensive cosmetics. But actually putting it into practice seems to be the hardest part.
