I bought foundation from an online duty-free shop, but I didn't do a shade test before ordering it, and I was completely fooled. My skin is somewhere between shades 21 and 23, but I wanted to look more radiant, so I chose the lightest shade.
But when I put it on and went out, my friend said, "It looks like only your face is floating. The color difference from your neck is huge!"
I laughed for a long time like this. When I got home and looked in the mirror again, my neck was really yellow and my face was white.
There was no such thing as an egg ghost.
I was so embarrassed that I went straight to the bathroom and roughly wiped it off with a wet tissue.
I'm currently mixing it with a darker shade because I feel bad about wasting the product, but it's annoying to have to worry about matching the colors every time. As for base products, even if it's annoying, I always go to the store and try them on my jawline.
I think it's less likely to fail if you check the color under natural light before buying. I trusted the convenience of online shopping, but ended up being disappointed.
