I'm trying to catch vertical pores and heat!
In the past, my skin was firm even if I stayed up all night, but now, even when I'm just a little tired, you can clearly see my pores getting bigger. ㅜ ㅜ It's really disgusting.. That's why I posted about my concerns last time, and for the past few days, the routine I've been sticking to, risking my life(?), is 'lowering my skin temperature.'
Experts say that if your skin temperature rises by just 1 degree, the rate of collagen decomposition increases, right? (Right? ㅠ) That's why, after washing my face in the morning, I always take out a cooling toner pad from the fridge and place it on both cheeks for 5 minutes.
After cooling down like this, layer on an essence with a very small amount of retinol. I just used something inexpensive. People in their 40s have a thin skin barrier, so using a high-dose retinol can actually upset the skin, but consistently applying it at the recommended amount definitely helped tighten my pores.
At night, I relieve my skin of the stress that has built up throughout the day with a modeling pack. It's a bit of a hassle, but I've found that no home remedy tightens pores as instantly as a modeling pack. It's frustrating, but these days, there are many cost-effective modeling packs. To maintain that plump, firm texture right after removing the pack, I also apply 1.5 times more moisturizing cream than usual before going to bed. If your pores are constantly saggy, try feeling your skin's warmth before reaching for expensive cosmetics.
I also need to find out a routine for removing impurities from pores.
