The weather these days is no joke, isn't it? It's freezing outside, but the heaters are blasting inside, so my skin feels like it can't breathe. In the past, I'd just apply toner and cream, and that was it, but with the new year, things have changed, and I've definitely realized that just basic skincare isn't enough. So, these days, I've been desperately sticking to a routine: a triple-layering of water toner, moisture ampoule, and oil balm.
First, immediately after washing my face, before leaving the bathroom, I apply a generous amount of toner. Then, when I get back to my room, I apply two layers of the ampoule to help prevent dryness. The key is not to simply spread it on, but to press it in with the warmth of your palms to help it absorb. Finally, I melt a small amount of oil balm in my palm and wrap it around my face. It feels like a moisture barrier is being coated. If you sleep like this, you'll notice that there are fewer pillow marks the next morning, and your skin will be firmer, making makeup go on flawlessly.
