A super-simple routine to beat the after-work "ghosting" habit

Honestly, when I get home from work, I don't want to lift a finger. Even I often feel sore after Pilates classes that I just want to sleep. Still, my New Year's resolution is to have flawless skin, so I stick to a minimal routine. It's a combination of mildly acidic cleansing and sheet masks.

 

They say that no matter how good a product you apply, it won't work if your skin barrier is broken, so I switched to a gentle cleanser and the redness has definitely gone down a lot.

 

After cleansing, I just pat dry my hair and immediately apply an inexpensive moisturizing pack before drying it. After removing the pack, I apply a generous layer of cream. I find that giving my skin time to rest actually helps it recover, rather than applying too many different products.

 

If you find it burdensome to increase the number of complicated steps, you will feel a difference in your complexion if you just stick to the basics.
