My own routine to eliminate morning puffiness and dead skin cells at once
When I wake up in the morning, my face is often so puffy I don't want to look in the mirror. It's especially worse if I eat bungeoppang (fish-shaped bread) or something salty at night. So these days, my morning routine focuses on washing my face with cold water and smoothing my skin texture. Water that's too cold can be irritating, so using just the right amount of cool water helps with blood circulation. Gently exfoliating my skin with a cleansing pad removes all the impurities that have accumulated overnight.
Next, I apply a light vitamin ampoule and massage it along my facial contours with a cooling device. This is really effective at reducing morning puffiness. Even with just five minutes, you'll see the area around your eyes and jawline come alive. Finally, apply sunscreen thoroughly and you're ready to go! If you thoroughly cleanse your skin in the morning, your skin will look smooth all day long, and even if you touch up your makeup in the afternoon, it won't look flaky, which is really satisfying.
