A collaboration between humidity control and the 7-skin method
Home care doesn't always require fancy devices. The two things I've found most effective these days are a humidifier and the 7-skin method. No matter how expensive an ampoule you use, it's all for naught if the indoor air is dry. That's why I always keep a humidifier on by my bedside while I sleep, keeping the humidity above 50%. And on days when my skin feels particularly dry, I use the 7-skin method, layering a large, inexpensive toner seven times.
It was a bit tedious at first, but after three or four applications, I could feel my skin becoming more hydrated from within. Even if you don't go all the way to seven, try applying it three times. The tightness I felt after washing my face due to severe dryness inside completely disappeared. While spending money on treatments is great, I think these small habits I do at home every night are the most effective in strengthening my skin's fundamentals.
