The disappearance of lips has reaffirmed the principles of winter home care.
I just had a hot bowl of oyster soup for lunch, and my precious lip balm has vanished from my bag. The heater is blasting, my lips are already cracked and chapped, and there's no way to find it... What I've realized through this excruciating pain is that basic stamina, or rather, skin stamina, is the most important thing: home care. Honestly, I've been cooped up in the blankets lately, so I've neglected my home care, and now my skin is suffering a drought as if it hadn't been waiting for it. My skin is already dry, but working near the heater has made my entire face feel like it's been parched. I'm going to rush home after work today, grab my modeling pack and facial oil, and give myself a full home care routine. I need to make sure I put a generous layer of Vaseline on my lips before bed, or I won't be able to smile tomorrow morning. Don't lose your lip balm and cry like I did, and make sure you moisturize regularly. Now I'm off to work in expressionless robot mode for the rest of the afternoon to keep my lips from bleeding... Have a great afternoon fighting dryness!
