After a long holiday and vacation, I did a self-diagnosis of my skin!
Coming back from the long Lunar New Year holiday, my skin is in terrible shape. Staying up late and eating a lot of delicious food is showing its true colors. My skin has become dull overall, and I've developed dark circles I never had before, making it almost scary to look in the mirror. My skin has also become much drier than usual due to the long drive in the car with the heater on.
Today, I'm declaring a state of emergency and going all-in on hydration. Instead of harsh cleansers, I'll gently wash my face with a milk-based cleanser and apply a generous layer of soothing packs to soothe my tired skin. The aftereffects of the holidays are lingering on my skin as well as my body, so I'm going to focus on recovery mode for the time being. This weekend, I'm determined to get plenty of sleep and allow my skin ample time to regenerate.
