손에 안 좋은 물질들이 많으니 맨언굴을 만지지 않도록 하는 것이 중요하다고 하더라구요 하지만 그게 쉬운 것은 아닌 듯 합니다 ㅠ
There's one rule I'm trying to stick to these days for skin care, and that is to avoid touching my face as much as possible!
While applying expensive cosmetics and face masks are important, minimizing external irritants is paramount to protecting the skin barrier. Even though we know how many germs are on our hands, we unconsciously rest our chins or touch our faces. I used to get so frustrated when I had a breakout that I would constantly try to pick at and squeeze them, but I learned firsthand that doing so only worsened the inflammation and left scars. ㅠㅠ
So these days, I'm careful not to let my hands near my face except when washing or applying foundation. Even if it tickles, I just gently press with my fingertips or use a cotton swab! Reducing physical stimulation has definitely made my skin less sensitive, and I can feel the redness and small bumps visibly calming down.
