I decided to stick to the basics of scalp home care.
I used to only care about my hair and didn't give much thought to my scalp, but at some point, I started feeling a bit stuffy around the crown of my head. So I started taking special care of my scalp at home.
These days, I focus more on drying my hair thoroughly and minimizing irritation than on using chemical products. When it comes to shampoos, I avoid those with too much cleansing power and spend more time rinsing thoroughly with lukewarm water. I feel like this alone is enough for basic scalp care.
When drying my hair, I avoid using hot air for too long, and instead finish with cool air to reduce scalp heat. I'm continuing my scalp home care routine, adding a scaling product only when I feel sebum buildup.
I'm incredibly satisfied with the fact that my scalp doesn't itch as often as it used to. Ultimately, I think sticking to a basic scalp home care routine that you can stick to is more important than trying various products. ^^
