Skin condition management methods that have changed with the times
In the past, when I had skin trouble, I'd rush to change products and apply packs. But I think that actually made things worse. So now, I've completely shifted my skin care approach to maintaining it before problems arise.
First, I've reduced the number of cosmetics I use. Instead of using a bunch of different products because they're all good, I stick to a few that work well for me. Because I have less to change, I feel like my skin condition is much more stable.
And surprisingly, what I've noticed is that water intake and sleep are key. When I don't get enough sleep, my skin immediately becomes dull and my skin tone becomes dull. So these days, I'm considering cutting down on late-night snacks and going to bed early as part of my skincare routine.
I only add sheet masks or functional products before special occasions. I've concluded that giving myself a few empty days is a better way to manage my skin condition than overfilling it every day.
