How do you do your daily home care during the changing seasons?
As spring approaches, the daily temperature range increases and skin condition becomes more unstable. It feels like a difficult time to practice daily home care at this time of year.
It's much better than midwinter, but my skin is still dry and sebum secretion is becoming more active. My T-zone is shiny and my U-zone is tight. So, when I applied my usual moisturizing cream to my entire face, pimples started to appear on the side of my nose.
I think it's time to change up my daily home care routine, so I started slightly changing up my basic products yesterday.
In the winter, I used to apply toner, ampoule, and highly moisturizing cream, and then add face oil or Vaseline at the end, and occasionally use a nourishing moisturizing pack for my daily home care. Now, I apply lotion with a good oil-moisture balance to my entire face after using toner and ampoule, and then add cream only to the dry areas around my eyes, cheeks, and mouth, and it feels just right.
I've been using Vaseline all winter, but now I feel a bit uncomfortable applying it to my face, so I'll have to apply the remaining Vaseline to my hands and feet.
I vary my daily home care routine a little depending on my skin condition and seasonal environment. What do you think? Do you, like me, adapt your daily home care routine to the changing seasons?
I'm curious to know how other people are doing their daily home care these days.
