Please recommend a soothing mask pack that can be used when my skin is red and swollen.
Hello everyone, how is your skin these days? ㅠㅠ A few days ago, my face suddenly started to feel hot, and then both of my cheeks started to turn red and I started getting a few small, pimple-like blemishes. I don't know if it's because the weather is dry and the daily temperature difference is large, or if the new skin ampoule I recently used isn't working for me. ㅎㅎ;; I put some aloe gel that was lying around the house in the fridge and applied it generously, but I feel like this alone isn't enough to reduce the heat. I'm thinking of buying a skin-calming mask pack that has a definite cooling sensation, so I was wondering which one would be good!
I used to really like using a sheet mask a day, so I used to stock up on cheap road shop sheet masks and just use them to replenish moisture. But now that my skin is extremely sensitive and my skin barrier is thin, I heard that just using any sheet mask can actually sting and redden my skin because of the chemical compounds in the sheet mask. ㅠㅠ So these days, I can't just stick on anything and I've decided that I need to use only really proven, proven skin-soothing sheet masks. I'm desperately looking for a skin-soothing sheet mask that's packed with centella asiatica extract, cica, and tea tree extract, and that's also incredibly gentle on the skin without irritation. ㅋㅋ If there's a product that's easily available at Olive Young or online that you use as a savior for sensitive skin, please let me know!
And I'm also curious if you all tend to reduce your skincare routine when your skin is really upset like this, or if you tend to put on a thicker layer of calming ampoule or gel cream like a sleeping pack before going to bed. I'm worried that applying too much will clog my pores even more, so I just lightly let it absorb, but when I wake up, it's so tight it's driving me crazy ㅠㅠ Rather than wash-off types that need to be washed off, I'd appreciate it if anyone knows of a good product that focuses on sheet-type calming mask packs that are easy to just put on and peel off.
