Every time the seasons change from spring to fall, white, dead skin cells would pile up around my nose and mouth, making my makeup look messy. I used to scrub my skin with an exfoliator, but that only irritated my skin and made it worse, so I changed my routine.
First, gently melt your skin with a mildly acidic peeling gel once a week. The key is to immediately apply a moisturizing bomb! I mix a modeling pack or gel mask with an ampoule and apply it.
Pressing the dead skin cells with water like this and putting them to sleep is much more effective than using a scrub.
After removing the pack, mix one or two drops of face oil with your moisturizing cream and press it gently onto the sides of your nose to coat them.
After changing my routine this way, the dry, flaky white skin cells disappeared as if by magic. It seems the right answer is to cover your skin with moisture rather than forcibly peel it off.
