Razor care: Cleanliness equals healthy skin
Hair removal and shaving are more than simply the act of cutting hair; they are processes that finely remove the stratum corneum of the skin.
Razor blades left in a humid bathroom are the best environment for bacteria to multiply, and if contaminated blades come into contact with the skin, they cause folliculitis, redness, and itching.
This is a problem that applies equally to both men and women when it comes to eyebrow or fine hair removal.
After using the razor blade, rinse it thoroughly under running water to remove residue, shake off the water, and store it in a well-ventilated area outside the bathroom or on a dry dedicated stand.
It is also a good idea to disinfect it periodically with an alcohol swab.
As the cutting power of the razor blade decreases, skin irritation becomes severe, so replacing it with a new blade every 2 to 3 weeks is the surest investment to prevent skin problems.
