For cosmetics, it is far more important to adhere to the Use After Open (PAO) than the expiration date. This is because ingredient oxidation and bacterial growth begin the moment the product comes into contact with air.

How to check the expiration date: Check the 6M or 12M markings on the back of the container (M=Month, number of months to keep after opening)
Replacement Cycle: Basics (Toner, Lotion): Within 6–12 months
Color cosmetics (mascara, liquid): Replacement recommended within 3–6 months
Storage Precautions: Avoid direct sunlight and store in a cool, dry place.
Risk: Using spoiled cosmetics may cause contact dermatitis or skin problems.
