Lower your skin temperature! A morning routine for perfect makeup application

With spring arriving and daytime temperatures rising rapidly, I feel like my face heats up and my pores stretch out even after just a short walk. You know how foundation cakes and falls apart quickly when your face feels hot? That's why I go all out to lower my skin temperature when I get ready to go out, haha. When I take a morning shower, I never let the hot water stream hit my face directly; instead, after I finish showering, I wash my face separately with lukewarm water at the sink. Also, since the hot air from the hairdryer dries out the skin, I apply a thick layer of chilled aloe vera gel all over my face like a mask while drying my hair. Once my hair is dry, I gently wipe off the remaining gel with a cotton pad before starting my base makeup. Because my skin temperature has dropped significantly, my makeup applies really well and feels incredibly firm and supple. I highly recommend this method to anyone concerned about their pores!
