My face looks like a mess this morning because I ate a late-night snack before going to bed yesterday.
I was so stressed last night that I had some spicy ramen with a cold can of beer before going to bed. I was really happy while I was eating it, but looking in the mirror this morning, I totally regret it ㅠㅠ My face is all puffy like a steamed bun, and maybe because I ate something salty, all the moisture has evaporated from my skin, making it look incredibly dry and rough. I felt like my makeup wouldn't apply at all like this, so I took out a spoon I'd frozen in the freezer this morning and massaged my eyelids and jawline intensely. After rinsing it off with water brewed from a cold green tea bag, I did look somewhat presentable, but I still feel like there is some slight swelling left on my jaw. I also really don't like how my skin texture has become bumpy. Looking at my face this morning, I painfully realize that late-night snacking is indeed the skin's greatest enemy. How do you all manage to resist the temptation of late-night snacks? I'm seriously going to go to sleep on just water tonight.
