Super simple lip exfoliation pack for applying lipstick beautifully

You know how stressful it is when you want to wear matte lipstick but your lips look messy because of all the dead skin flakes? I’ve also drawn blood so many times from unconsciously picking at the dead skin on my lips with my fingers. My super simple home care tip for when my lips are severely chapped and cracked is a lip mask using plastic wrap and lip balm! Before bed, I apply a very thick layer of a rich lip balm or Vaseline, extending right beyond my lip line. Then, I cut a small piece of kitchen plastic wrap the size of my lips, place it firmly over my lips, and sleep. The next morning, I remove the wrap while washing my face. Gently rub the softened lips with a cotton swab, and the dead skin cells will come off cleanly without irritation. When I apply lipstick after this care, it goes on perfectly smoothly without settling into the creases. If you have a habit of picking at your lips, you definitely have to give this a try!
