This is a record of my skin condition today, written while looking in the mirror on a weekend morning~

I woke up late on Sunday morning, washed my face, and looked in the mirror. Seeing that the pillow marks on my cheeks still hadn't gone away, I let out a wry laugh to myself. ^^; I remember my skin used to smooth out right away after washing, but now the marks remain even by lunchtime. It really makes me feel a bit bitter about time.

Since entering my 50s, I keenly feel that my skin condition changes day by day. My biggest concerns are, as expected, dryness and loss of elasticity. Before, I didn't feel any tightness even when I applied toner and lotion haphazardly, but lately, my face feels so dry it feels like it's going to tear apart the moment I turn around after washing it. On top of that, seeing the areas around my eyes and nasolabial folds look sunken like deflated balloons is what upsets me the most every morning. Even when I apply makeup, my skin looks lifeless and dull, so I find myself constantly reapplying it.

So today, I really made up my mind to take care of my skin starting from the morning. I applied a really thick layer of the nourishing cream I bought on a home shopping channel and have been saving, using it like a mask, and got a good rest. As a result, my face has a bit more glow than yesterday, and I look more like a normal person. Haha.

I’ve been living in ignorance about my own face getting rough because I was busy taking care of my husband and the kids... but from now on, I need to invest in myself so I don't get depressed when I look in the mirror. I’m also thinking about visiting a dermatologist.

How are you all taking care of your skin these days? I'm curious if ingestible collagen really works, or if you have any recommendations for a firming cream. If you have any good tips, please share them—treating it like helping out a younger or older sibling. ^^

    나이 먹어보니 홈케어도 중요한데 늘어지고 쳐지고 패이는 피부는 피부과 도움 없인 힘든것 같아요. 그래도 머니머니해도 머니가 문제라
    우선 우리가 할 수 있는건 잘 먹고 잘 자고 운동하고 홈케어 꾸준히 하는게 방법 같아요.
