My skin gets all cracked from talking all day, so I'm leaving a record of my skin condition today.
Hello everyone! Haha. Are you all holding up well during the weekdays? Since moving to a department in March where I have to talk all day, the indoor environment has been much drier than I expected. After breathing in dust and talking all day, my face feels like it's going to crack open by the time I get off work. ㅠㅠ Feeling a bit frustrated and upset, I'm posting this on the free board to vent about my skin condition today. It's seriously the worst—so bad that I don't even want to look in the mirror. lol
In the morning, my base makeup definitely applies well and I go to work with moisturized skin, but by 3 PM, I can feel the pores in my butterfly zone stretching vertically and tiny bumps popping up under my chin. I just sigh deeply every time I look in the mirror. I usually keep a private record of my skin condition in my diary app, but today it’s in a state I simply cannot bear to look at alone, so I’m writing this down to get some comfort and ask a question to you all.
How do you all treat emergencies when the indoor dryness is this severe and your skin flares up like an allergy due to dust? As a quick fix, I usually put aloe soothing gel in the refrigerator and apply a thick layer like a sleeping mask before bed, but I think I've developed a tolerance to that now, so there seems to be a limit to it haha ㅠㅠ Honestly, looking at my personal record of my skin condition all week, it's been a party of redness everywhere, so it makes me feel so depressed.
For those of you feeling intense skin dryness while working, whether in an office or out and about, if you’ve seen real results with any soothing ampoules or cooling pads, please give them lots of recommendations in the comments!! I really hope that next week I can confidently write a bragging post saying that all those tiny bumps are gone from my skin condition record haha. I would be so grateful if everyone could share their tips for surviving a dry work environment!!
