I've neglected my skin because I've been so busy ㅠㅠ I'm asking for advice on my own spring skincare routine lol
Hello everyone! Haha. Lately, I’ve been busy taking care of a multicultural class and mentoring programs at school, so I don’t even know how the days go by. ㅠㅠ I’m so exhausted after work that I just collapse, so I’ve been haphazardly applying the heavy cream I used in the middle of winter. As a result, my face is oily on the outside and cracking deep inside. So, I came to the General Discussion Board to completely overhaul my vanity this weekend and create a fresh spring skincare routine of my own. ㅋㅋ
Maybe it's because the weather has suddenly gotten so warm, but the heavy barrier creams I used to use feel like they clog my pores, so I think I should skip them. From which step do you guys start switching to lighter products? I'm thinking of buying a water-type hydrating essence first, but if you know of any products that are good for combination skin (oily T-zone, dry cheeks), please give me some recommendations. I'm trying to benchmark your perfect spring skincare routines by reading your posts. Since the fine dust and yellow dust are so bad these days, I'm really worried about the cleansing step as well. I'm wondering if switching from the foam cleanser I usually use to something like a mild, pH-balanced gel cleanser would be helpful.
Also, as the seasons change, I should probably switch my daytime sunscreen to a less oily one, right? If there was a formula that absorbs quickly and saves time while I get ready for work every morning, it would fit my spring skincare routine perfectly haha. I would be so grateful if you could all share how you've rearranged your vanities and your spring skincare routines in the comments ㅠㅠ I really want to quickly shed this dull winter skin and be reborn with radiant, glowing skin so I can go to work with a light step!! Since I have to stand in front of the kids, dry, dull skin makes me look even more tired, so it really stresses me out haha. Please feel free to generously recommend good products to everyone!!
