Recording my skin condition today, a quick check amidst a busy day
As I looked in the mirror while getting ready for work this morning, I suddenly found myself checking the condition of my skin. These days, rather than doing my skincare mindlessly like I used to, I find it helpful to record my skin's condition from time to time like this. If I keep track of even small changes, I find that I gradually learn what kind of environments make my skin sensitive.
Overall, my skin tone was pretty good today, but the area around my cheeks felt a bit dry. Perhaps because it is the change of seasons, the morning air is still cold and the heaters are blowing indoors, so it seems like my skin's moisture evaporates easily. That is why I paid a little more attention to applying moisturizer than usual. I find that recording my skin condition like this at the start of the day helps me adjust my skincare routine.
Around lunchtime, I felt a little oil coming up on my T-zone. Still, I was relieved that I didn't get any breakouts or severe redness. To make sure I don't miss even these small changes, I've been consistently keeping a record of my skin condition each day lately.
