The habit of applying body lotion thoroughly

One of my personal skincare tips is the habit of applying body lotion thoroughly. I've noticed that while many people pay close attention to facial care, they often just casually apply lotion to their body skin. I apply body lotion first after showering, before my skin has completely dried. This allows moisture to stay on the skin longer, keeping it hydrated. It is also important to dispense a generous amount of lotion into your palm and apply it slowly, massaging it in the order of arms, legs, neck, and abdomen. Applying an extra layer to areas prone to dryness, such as elbows, knees, and heels, makes them much softer. When applying, sweeping upwards from bottom to top feels like it helps with blood circulation. If you take care of your skin consistently like this every day, your skin becomes noticeably smoother and dryness is significantly reduced. It is my personal skincare method that makes me realize that consistency is more important than special treatments.
