Lately, I have been trying to change my habits one by one, starting with small ones, for better skincare. I realized that the most basic of these, yet surprisingly difficult to stick to, is drinking enough water. So recently, I set a goal to drink 2 liters of water a day and am trying to put it into practice.
I usually couldn't drink water often because I was busy, so I frequently drank coffee or other beverages instead. However, while researching skincare, I came across many discussions stating that sufficient hydration can also affect skin condition. This made me realize that it is important to replenish moisture from within the body, rather than just focusing on products applied to the surface.
Rather than drinking a large amount at once from the start, I plan to reach 2 liters a day by drinking a cup upon waking up in the morning, a cup after meals, and small amounts throughout the day. I am hoping that if I practice this consistently, my skin dryness might decrease a little.
Going forward, I plan to consistently maintain my water intake habit and record how my skin condition changes. Although it is a small habit, I believe that if I practice it consistently, it will become a good routine that helps with skin care.
