A late-night worker's record of my skin condition today
When I got home after working overtime, my face in the mirror was a complete mess. Since I had been organizing materials until 2 AM yesterday, my skin had been dry and rough since I left for work this morning. My cheeks were rough, the area under my eyes had darkened like a blue shadow, and fine dead skin cells were slowly creeping up between my forehead and nose. It was the absolute worst. Maybe it was because I couldn't even drink a proper sip of water and only gulped down coffee, but my skin felt empty from the inside out. The texture didn't feel as smooth to my fingertips when I washed my face, and even patting it didn't give me any elasticity, leaving me feeling suffocated.
I rushed out a shower and slathered on a generous amount of hydrating toner. My skin tone was still dull, and my blemishes stood out. Even after applying cream, I didn't feel fully recovered. Staying hydrated is the top priority the day after working late. I really need to drink plenty of water tomorrow.
