3/20 Today's Skin Condition Log (The Empty Space After the Humidifier and the Struggle with Fatima Gel)

Ugh... to think the humidifier broke down at this very moment. It feels like the air in the room has instantly turned into a desert. As soon as I stepped out of the washing machine, my face felt like it was cracking open; it felt like my skin was screaming in silent agony, so I immediately put on a face mask. The cold sheet makes me feel a bit better, but I'm worried about whether I can survive tonight without a humidifier. I guess I'll just have to buy a new one tomorrow.

The good news is that my acne has subsided quite a bit compared to a few days ago. I've been consciously drinking a lot of water lately, and it seems to be working. I guess inner beauty is the answer after all. It's fascinating to see the inflammation calm down just from drinking some water, so I definitely need to make sure I maintain this habit of drinking plain water.

However, there was an unexpected obstacle. Perhaps because of the Fatima Gel I applied to try and get rid of my acne, the center of my face is stinging particularly hard today. Is this the side effect I've only heard about? I don't know if it's just my imagination, but my complexion seems to have gotten noticeably darker and duller lately, so it upsets me every time I look in the mirror. It seems my skin has become as sensitive as it can get. For the time being, I think I need to let go of my obsession with ointments and focus entirely on soothing my skin.
