Great tips for identifying your skin type (oily, dry, combination)..
The first and most important step of home care during the changing seasons is knowing your skin type exactly.
If you are using cosmetics that others recommend but seeing no results, there is a high probability that you are using a formula that does not suit your skin type. The easiest way to determine this is by observing how the product is left on after washing your face.
After washing your face with lukewarm water, try waiting for 15 to 30 minutes without applying anything.
Dry skin: If your skin feels very tight overall, has white flakes of dead skin, and feels rough, you have dry skin.
Oily Skin: If your entire face quickly becomes shiny (oily) and your pores are prominent, you have oily skin.
Combination Skin: If your T-zone (forehead, nose) is oily but your U-zone (cheeks, chin) feels tight, you have combination skin.
