Applying sunscreen after laser treatment is actually much more important than I thought. Everyone, make sure to remember to do it!

I am writing this post to share my experience, as I almost developed hyperpigmentation recently after neglecting proper care following a dermatological procedure. I heard that after laser treatments, the skin becomes temporarily sensitive and its barrier is weakened, so exposure to UV rays can actually cause more blemishes to appear. I skipped a day because I was feeling lazy, and I was shocked to see the treated area turn red. Since then, I make sure to apply sunscreen diligently even when indoors and always bring a hat when going out. Paying attention to aftercare definitely seems to speed up skin regeneration and make the effects last longer. Please remember that home care is just as important as the treatment itself, and I think it is a good idea to apply plenty of moisturizing cream to soothe the skin.
