Seasonal Skin Condition Management Routine

I've been riding my bike for quite a while because I really hate traffic jams on my commute, but as the weather got cooler and I got hit with the cold wind morning and evening, my skin turned into a total mess.

 

I am running my own intense skin care routine for the changing seasons to prevent my skin from becoming so dry it feels like it’s going to tear and cracking red. Step 1 of my routine is applying a thick Cica cream—more than twice the usual thickness—before leaving the house to create an artificial protective barrier on the surface of my skin.

 

And when I get home, I always wrap up my seasonal skin care routine by applying a cold gel mask for 15 minutes to soothe skin startled by the cold wind. I've heard that headwinds instantly strip the skin of its oil and moisture, so if you don't create a physical barrier like this, aging sets in quickly. For those who ride scooters or bicycles, a moisturizing coating is truly essential!
