The infamous Rejuran Healer: A genuine review of the pain and effects, paid for with my own money.
Do you all get dermatological procedures often? I'm usually a bit of a wimp, so I've only dabbled in things like laser toning. But recently, when I looked in the mirror, I noticed my overall facial elasticity had dropped significantly, and more than anything, my skin felt so dry and rough—completely devoid of inner glow. No matter how dewy my makeup was, by the afternoon, I could actually see it cracking right before my eyes. So, I finally mustered up the courage and went to get the famous Rejuran Healer. Haha. I had seen so many reviews about how notoriously painful it is that my hands were sweating the day before I went to the clinic. While I was waiting with the numbing cream on, I can't even begin to tell you how much I prayed inside, begging them to make it less painful.
The director came in and the procedure finally began, and wow, it was truly pain I’ve never felt in my life. It felt like my face was being sliced or scraped with shards of glass. Every time the needle went in, tears welled up in my eyes, and I found myself clenching my fists without even realizing it. If they hadn't given me a doll to hold, I might have actually run away in the middle of the session, haha. And the embossing was so severe that when I looked in the mirror right after the procedure, I seriously thought I was a frog. I came home with my mask pulled down low, but I hit a massive reality check. I kept asking myself if it was really worth enduring this pain and the cost. For several days, it stung even when I washed my face, and since makeup couldn't cover the embossing completely, I canceled all my plans and just stayed home.
But you know what? Haha. After about a week, the bumps completely subsided and the dead skin cells started peeling off a little, and a glow truly started coming from deep within my skin! Even though I only washed my face and applied toner before going to work in the morning, my forehead and cheekbones had a shiny, smooth glow like a peeled egg, and I kept marveling at myself in the mirror. Haha. Foundation applies perfectly even without a makeup base, and best of all, the dry, tight feeling I used to experience in the afternoon—even when driving with the heater on—has completely disappeared. My skin texture feels incredibly soft and firm. They say you need to get it three times at one-month intervals for the effects to last, and while I hesitate when I think back to that terrible pain, I find myself clicking the booking button again every morning when I see my glowing skin. ㅠㅠ I'm going for my second session next month; do you have any tips for enduring the pain? Please, please share them! Haha!
