Revealing my secret anti-aging home care routine that gives you peeled egg-like skin!!
Hello everyone! As we get older, I'm sure many of you are worried about how noticeable fine lines around your eyes, nasolabial folds, and loss of skin elasticity become, right? Lately, I've also felt my skin sagging significantly, so I've become completely serious about anti-aging. While dermatological treatments are great, I believe consistent home care is truly important. After trying various things, I finally settled on my own anti-aging routine, and I'm going to share it all with you today!
The key to my routine is the harmony of 'retinol' and 'moisturizing' haha. I'm sure you all know that retinol is amazing for wrinkle reduction and skin cell turnover, but it can have quite a few side effects in the beginning. I got a bit greedy at first and applied a high-concentration product every day, and my face broke out and I had a total flaky skin party, so I suffered a lot haha ㅠㅠ. That's why the solution I found is the 'sandwich technique'! After cleansing, I thoroughly refine my skin texture with a hydrating toner, and then apply a thin layer of a barrier cream containing ceramide or panthenol. Next, I squeeze out a pea-sized amount of retinol serum and dab it onto the areas where I'm concerned about wrinkles—around my eyes, nasolabial folds, and neck—and gently spread it out. Once it's completely absorbed, I cover it once more with a thick, regenerating cream!
By doing this, I experienced absolutely no irritation like stinging or flaking, and I could feel my skin become incredibly firm and smooth the next morning. At first, I only applied it twice a week, but now that my skin has adjusted, I use it every other day. After doing it consistently for about a month, I can definitely see a difference in my skin texture and a subtle glow on my face. Also, since retinol is sensitive to light in the morning, I never forget to apply sunscreen thoroughly in the morning using two finger lengths of skin. Haha. I think anti-aging isn't something that happens overnight; consistency is key! I'm curious what kind of home care everyone else is doing; let's share any good tips you have!
