I am considering IPL treatment for pigmentation disorders such as facial flushing and freckles.
I have some questions before deciding on the procedure.
First, I'm curious about the overall duration of the IPL treatment, from start to finish.
How long does it usually take? (e.g. how many treatments, how often between treatments)
Second, I would like to know what effects I can expect after IPL treatment and when the effects will appear.
How much improvement can be made in rosacea and pigmentation disorders?
Third, and this is the part that concerns me the most, I wonder if there is any risk of recurrence after the procedure.
Is there a possibility that the area treated with IPL will become red or pigmented again after some time?
If so, I would also like to know if there are any maintenance measures (e.g. additional treatment intervals) needed to prevent this.
