Do I need to do Pico Toning multiple times to see results? I'm worried about melasma and blemishes.
Lately, my skin tone looks dull overall, and I'm worried because the light pigmentation, especially on my cheeks, is becoming increasingly bothersome. At first, I just assumed they were blemishes, but when I look closely, they seem to be spread out a bit, so I'm wondering if they might be melasma.
You know how once you start noticing pigmentation, you just can't stop seeing it...? Makeup covers it up to some extent, but since my skin doesn't look clean when I'm barefaced, I feel like my confidence is dropping for no reason. My skin tone used to be fairly even, but lately it seems to look patchy all over.
So, while looking into toning treatments, I was highly recommended Pico Toning. I heard it's less irritating than regular toning and is mainly used for improving pigmentation. However, I'm also hesitant because I've heard a lot of people say that you don't see significant results after just one or two sessions and need to get multiple treatments.
I've heard that the cumulative number of sessions is more important than the procedure itself, so the cost is something I can't ignore. I'm worried that if I start and then give up halfway, the results might be underwhelming. Also, I've heard that melasma can get darker if mishandled, so I'm becoming even more cautious.
Has anyone here tried Pico Toning? I'm curious at around which session you started noticing changes. I would also appreciate it if you could share your satisfaction with the improvement in blemishes and skin tone, as well as any downtime.
