Does Pico Toning help improve melasma, blemishes, and pigmentation?

I feel like the blemishes and melasma on my face are gradually increasing, so I am looking into Pico Toning at a dermatology clinic. My skin tone wasn't this dull before, but lately, even with makeup on, my skin doesn't look clear, and pigmentation is appearing in certain spots, which is stressing me out. I've tried using whitening products at home, but they weren't as effective as I expected, so I'm thinking of getting a laser treatment.

I looked it up and heard that Pico Toning helps improve melasma, blemishes, and pigmentation. For those who have actually received it, what were the results like? I am curious if the overall skin tone brightens, and if it is effective not only on light blemishes but also on old melasma.

I would like to know how many Pico Toning sessions are typically required to see results. I am curious whether I can feel a difference after just one or two sessions, or if I need to receive treatments consistently. I am also concerned about whether the procedure is painful, and if there are any symptoms such as redness or skin sensitivity afterward.

Also, I heard that melasma can actually get darker after laser treatment, so I am curious about that as well.
