I'm curious about reviews regarding laser treatment for a scar I got 5 years ago.

About five years ago, I slipped at a swimming pool and developed a scar on my knee that is about an inch long. It has been quite a while, but it hasn't gone away, which is a concern for me. Lately, when I visit dermatology websites, it seems that scar treatment is also available using lasers. I am curious about the principles behind laser scar treatment. If anyone knows how much the size of the scar or skin texture actually changes before and after laser scar treatment, I would appreciate it if you could let me know. I tend to avoid wearing shorts or skirts because I am self-conscious about the knee scar.
